Care Guide – USA Website
Before First Use
Wash separately the first time. Our fabrics are garment-dyed, and some color release during the initial wash is normal.
Washing
Machine wash cold or warm (up to 40°C / 104°F) on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent. Wash with similar colors after the first wash. Do not use bleach, optical brighteners, or fabric softeners.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat. Remove promptly to reduce wrinkles. Line drying is recommended when possible. Avoid high heat to protect natural cotton fibers.
Ironing
Iron on medium heat while fabric is slightly damp. Steam may be used if desired. Ironing is optional for both percale and sateen.
Garment-Dyed & Natural Variations
Due to the garment-dye process, slight color variations may occur and color will naturally soften over time. Initial dye release is normal and expected. This is a characteristic of the fabric, not a defect.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid plastic containers for long-term storage and allow fabrics to breathe.
Longevity
With proper care, Egyptian cotton becomes softer and more comfortable over time while
maintaining its structure.
